(Some more requirements can be found in Scout books, Scoutbook, or online; These are mostly just for our troop)

For Scout, go to 50% of the meetings in the past 4 months (or else explain why you couldn't), wear the Troop 274 shirt, insignia, and neckerchief at Troop meetings, and please try to behave. Also make sure you're able to say the Scout Oath, Law, Motto, and Slogan (we say all those at every meeting, which helps a lot).

For Tenderfoot, you need to have been at 1 night of a troop campout (campouts don't include summer camp unfortunately), done 1 hour of community service with us, tell us how you've lived 4 points of the Scout Law, and otherwise do the same stuff as for Scout.

For Second Class, since joining you need 2 nights of troop camping, 1 other outdoor activity, and 2 other Troop activities (activities doesn't count regular meetings). You also need 2 more hours of community service with us, and to discuss how you've lived 4 other points of the Scout Law (you can't reuse the ones you said for Tenderfoot). Otherwise, it's the same as for Scout for clothing, behavior, 50% of meetings, and Oath/Law/Motto/Slogan.

For First Class since joining you should have done 3 nights of camping with us, 3 other outdoor troop activities, and 4 other troop activities. You also need 3 more hours of community service beyond what you did for previous rank requirements. You should have a full uniform (shirt, insignia, neckerchief, but also pants, a belt, and maybe scout socks) for this and future ranks. You should hopefully also figure out your personal goals for scouting. Finally, you've got to let us know how you live by the last 4 points of the Scout law that you didn't use before. Make sure you're still able to say the Scout Oath, Law, Motto, and Slogan.

For Star, it's more required that you need to go to 50% of the meetings within the past 4 months than for previous ranks. You should've gone to at least 5 troop events since getting First Class, including at least 2 troop campouts. Be sure to do at least 6 hours of community service with us since your last rank. You'll want to also be able to discuss what you've done in your troop job, and what your troop job is supposed to do in general. Please make sure you're still able to say the Scout Oath, Law, Motto, and Slogan.

For Life, our requirements are similar to Star except that you should have go to at least 50% of the meetings in the past 6 months (instead of 4 for Star), at least 3 of the 6 community service hours since getting Star should be for conservation, and you should be in your troop job for at least 6 months (instead of 4 in Star). Beyond that, try to be a bit more responsible in your job, and as always make sure you're still able to say the Scout Oath, Law, Motto, and Slogan.

For Eagle, our requirements are the same as for Life besides that the 6 community service hours don't have to include conservation if you don't want (and don't include your own Eagle project stuff, just others'). You've also got to say how you incorporate Scout spirit in your life.

And finally, for each Eagle Palm you need to go to at least 3 of our meetings and one night of camping with us in the past 3 months, and help out in at 1 hour of community service. Also, either do a troop job for at least 3 months or carry out an approved leadership project to help our Troop.

Wow, that's a lot of info! Believe me, it's (mostly) not as bad as it looks.
